Lusine is an amazing teacher! She is very knowledgeable and always answers my questions thoroughly and with ease. She helps me to reduce tension and muscular effort in my piano playing and gives expert advice on musicality. As an adult student, she is respectful of my time and learning preferences. As a teacher myself, I am happy to highly recommend her!

Ms. Lusine is beyond meticulous, patience, knowledgeable and talented. I had the pleasure of taking the lessons with her during the pandemic via online and occasionally in person when I visit my family in Cali after the pandemic. I made lots of mistake during the lessons, but I never felt like I'm being judged or rushed. I'm a beginner and couldn't recommend her enough.

Was in Orange County for a few months and looking for an instructor. I improved more with Miss Lucy in 3 months than I have in 2 years with my primary teacher in New York. She improved my technique and musicality and really pushed me. Highly recommend !!!

Ms. Lusine has been piano teacher for my 3 girls for the past six years. The girls made a connection with her from day one and have enjoyed all these years of lessons and continue to do so. She is patient, kind and appropriately progresses and challenges them to their maximum potential. Performances and competitions challenging yet enjoyable. Ms. Lusine also prepares them well for the annual certificate of merit they have been participating in. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about learning piano.

Ms. Lusine is amazing! Im new to the piano and Lusine is extremely patient and helpful in helping me learning how to play. My goal was to learn how to comfortably and confidently play in front of a crowd. In the 5 years I was taking piano lessons here, I learned and passed all 10 levels of CM, competed and won more than a dozen competitions and made it to regionals. I was taught by one of the best, improved at a pace most of my peers couldnt keep up with - every time I played a competition, judges assumed I would become a piano major in college. Miss Lucy was trained in a Russian Music Academy, she has a way of explaining technique and musicality with nuance but without the fear most teachers of this caliber drill into you. In my opinion, she is by far the best teacher in the Orange County branch.

She's the best teacher I've ever had. I have had her for about 2 years after I moved to California. My techniques and ability to play musically have improved a lot. She's a master at techniques, musicality, and incorporates different methods and illustrations in teaching. She's also a caring and fun teacher and hosted fun events like workshops outside of class.

Prior to starting lessons at Lusine's studio, I had already been playing for years and cycled through several teachers trying to find someone who could push me to the next level. My improvement was slow at best and I really wanted a teacher who could develop me. Lusine is amazing, she taught me how to practice more efficiently and always had a new exercise or explanation to show me for each problem area in my playing. I saw immediate improvement in my technique and over time, noticed a change in my musicality as well. When I left her studio (because I relocated to a different state), my level of playing was markedly improved.

She still gives me tips over the phone when I check in with her! Truly a gifted a musician and a teacher who cares about her students. If you're anywhere near the Orange County area, the commute is worth the reward.

Lusine is such a wonderful teacher! She got me into shape for college as a music major. I know it was her wisdom and musical advice that made the difference on my entrance audition. Now that I am going back to audition for a Master's degree I am back in her studio asking for help again. Our two daughters have been taking lessons at Lusine Studios for past 6 years accumulatively. They have advanced measurably each year. Lusine is a talented pianist and she instructs with kind patience yet firm detail. She provides clear instructions and because she has a great musical ear she can immediately provide accurate feedback. Her eastern European background provides drive towards continues growth of her students. She has an individual approach to each of her students based on their level yet finds a way to instill enthusiasm in all for growth and advancement. My kids love when she plays the peaces for them prior to assigning them; it allows them to fall in love with the music they will be practicing and strive to perform it with similar accuracy and passion.
